Public Sector Duty

The Disability Discrimination Act 2005 places a duty on all public bodies to promote disability equality. Certain public bodies must publish a Disability Equality Scheme from December 2006. We can advise on the requirements of these duties and assist in preparing Disability Equality Schemes including participation with user groups.
